His brilliant work rate makes him a complete package.</p><p>Madrid forwent the opportunity to activate Paz’s clause last summer, allowing him to continue his development with Cesc Fabregas’ side.</p><p>Tottenham Hotspur also saw their lucrative proposal for Paz turned down.</p><p>Inter Milan are also said to be monitoring the La Fabrica graduate, with Madrid holding 50% of any future sale.</p><p>However, the La Liga giants have concrete plans for Paz, who is also understandably keen on etching his mark with his boyhood club.</p><p>The only concern is if there is room for Paz in Xabi Alonso’s current set-up.</p><p>Madrid are stacked with quality attacking midfielders, such as Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono. </p><p>Although Paz can operate as a right-winger, he has predominantly featured in the No.10 position. </p><p>The Argentine international will undoubtedly raise the ceiling at Madrid. His composure on the ball, progressive passing, free-kick abilities and a knack for long-range screamers make him a perfect fit for Alonso’s system.</p><p>With uncertainties looming over the futures of Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz and Endrick, and Mastantuono recovering from pubalgia, Paz could be a breath of fresh air to Madrid’s attack.</p><p>The 21-year-old is also set to play a pivotal role for Argentina in the 2026 World Cup.</p>)
