Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder won their seventh straight game to improve to 15-1, beating the Sacramento Kings 113-99 on Wednesday night. Chet Holmgren had 21 points and Lu Dort scored all 14 of his points in the second half, including 11 in the fourth quarter for the defending champion Thunder. Dennis Schroder scored 21 points and DeMar DeRozan added 17 for the Kings, who lost their seventh straight.

Lady Griz great Skyla Sisco loses cancer battle
Nov. 19—The University of Montana lost a legendary athlete last week: Skyla Sisco, a standout Lady Griz basketball player, passed away after a six-year battle with breast cancer on Nov. 13. Morgan Frost slipped Jonathan Huberdeau's cross-crease pass past Colten Ellis to break a tie at 2:02 of the third and the NHL-worst Calgary Flames beat the Buffalo Sabres 6-2 on Wednesday night. Backup Devin Cooley made 28 saves for his first NHL victory since April 2024 with San Jose to help Calgary rebound from a 5-2 loss at Chicago on Tuesday night with starter Dustin Wolf in goal.

Booker's all-around performance leads No. 4 Texas to a 95-56 win against James Madison
Madison Booker scored 18 points, Jordan Lee had 16, and No. 4 Texas beat James Madison 95-56 on Wednesday night for its 29th straight win at home. Booker, an All-American junior, also made six of the Longhorns' 21 steals. Lee also had a big game in a 93-62 win at James Madison last season, making six 3-point baskets without missing while scoring 20.
