Nuggets shooting guard Christian Braun will be sidelined indefinitely after spraining his left ankle on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. The team announced Friday that Braun will be re-evaluated in six weeks. Braun is averaging 11.4 points and 4.4 rebounds for the 9-2 Nuggets this season.

The two fighters had their final faceoff on Friday afternoon in The Big Apple, and UFC CEO Dana White needed to get in the middle of everything as the heat picked up immensely. </p><p class="has-text-align-none">Check out the final faceoff below. </p><div class="youtube-embed"></div><p class="has-text-align-none">Following the faceoff, Makhachev spoke to UFC 322 color commentator Joe Rogan where the former lightweight champion gave his final thoughts ahead of his opportunity to become a two-division UFC world champion. </p><p class="has-text-align-none">“One day to my dream,” Makhachev said. “[It’s the] biggest fight of my life. I am ready. Thank you, everyone. See you tomorrow.”</p><p class="has-text-align-none">Della Maddalena defends his title for the first time after defeating Belal Muhammad at UFC 315 in May to capture the championship.
