76ers' Kelly Oubre Jr. out with knee injury, will be reevaluated in two weeks
Philadelphia 76ers forward Kelly Oubre Jr. is expected to miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with a sprained ligament in his left knee, the team said before Wednesday night's game against Toronto. Oubre left last Friday’s game in Detroit with a hyperextension of his left knee. Oubre, 29, had started the first 12 games of the season and averaged 16.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 34.8 minutes per game.

The first set was electric, but the Badgers held on and fought through a close third set as well for their third sweep in a row.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">Mimi Colyer had 24 kills, while Alicia Andrew and Charlie Fuerbringer each had six blocks for the Badgers.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">After getting swept by the No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers, Wisconsin has rattled off five straight victories, with four coming via sweep, in conference play. That includes wins over ranked Minnesota and Indiana, and the Badgers have another big opportunity to open the week against Purdue.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">The Boilermakers fell two spots from No. 9 to No. 11 in the rankings this week after a 3-2 loss to the Oregon Ducks on the road on Saturday. That snapped a nine-game win streak and dropped the Boilermakers to 22-4, including 13-3 in conference play.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">This is the first matchup between the two teams this season, and it should be a fun one at the Field House on Wednesday evening in front of a good crowd.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">Stay tuned as our game thread is officially open!</p>)

Kelvin Sampson, who previously coached at Indiana prior to his firing in 2008, won out over current head coach Darian DeVries. Other programs under consideration by Diane included Kentucky, Arkansas and Virginia.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">Indiana seemed to put something of a priority on landing a center in the upcoming high school class, particularly the kind that could start right away. Indiana was in on Ethan Taylor, who has since committed to Big Ten rival Michigan State, and its two current rotational centers, Reed Bailey and Sam Alexis, will exhaust their college eligibility upon the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.</p><p class="has-text-align-none">Barring a decommitment, from Diane or a different center, the Hoosiers will likely turn to the transfer portal for a starting center during the offseason.</p>)
