Amen Thompson scores a season-high 27 points to lead Rockets to fourth straight win
Amen Thompson scored a season-high 27 points, Alperen Sengun added 26 points and 11 rebounds and the Houston Rockets outlasted the Dallas Mavericks for a 110-102 victory on Monday night. Houston has won four straight after dropping its first two games of the season. The Rockets led by one when Sengun drove into the lane and spun around a defender before sinking a shot to make it 105-102 with about 90 seconds left.

Freshman Darryn Peterson scored 21 points in 22 minutes in his debut to lead No. 19 Kansas past Green Bay 94-51 in the season opener for both teams Monday night. Peterson shot 7 of 11 from the field, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, before sitting most of the second half. Kansas' Flory Bidunga led all scorers with 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 sniping from the line.

Page also grabbed 12 rebounds and added six assists in his debut for the Wildcats after stops at USC and Cincinnati. K.J. Windham added 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting (3-for-5 from 3-point range) off the bench as the only other player in double figures for Northwestern.
