The purpose of the upcoming talks is to lay the groundwork for a possible agreement by attempting to bridge this significant financial gap.</p><p>It is noted that agent Zahavi maintains excellent relations with the Rossoneri management, having successfully negotiated the transfer of Nkunku from Chelsea to Milan last summer.</p><h2>Ibrahimović Champions the Move</h2><p>The operation has a strong backer within the club: Zlatan Ibrahimović, a senior advisor to RedBird. Last season he played 55 games for Milan, scoring a career best 16 goals and providing four assists.</p><p>Reijnders will be a crucial player for the Dutch side should they make the World Cup next summer. They have their destiny in their own hands, with a win over Poland this week securing their spot in next years tournament. I'm just working as hard as I can, putting everything into training so that I'm ready to come away for Wales, but also ready to come on the pitch for Leeds, even if I'm not starting. Mentally, I am always ready to make a difference.” </p><p>James, who did not play during the last international break due to injury, praised his team’s fight in defeats against England and Belgium. </p><p>“We went toe-to-toe with Belgium,” he reflected, before adding: “We've just got to look at those games and see what we can do better for the next two. </p><p>“There's no easy pathway to the World Cup but we don’t look past the next game against Liechtenstein. It's going to be a tough test and we have to go into that game just like every other game, believing that we can win.” </p><p>And, with Welsh captain Ben Davies injured, James responded to questions about the possibility of Whites skipper Ampadu taking the armband for his country. </p><p>“I think he's obviously been an incredible captain for Leeds. I think a lot of people forget how young he is with how long he’s been around. He’s a great leader on and off the pitch. </p><p>“Obviously, it’s not my choice, but it’s a role I think Ethan could really step up to.” </p>)
