Trump Noticeably Snubs John McCain During the Signing of a Bill Named After the Ailing Senator

As President Donald Trump signed a defense spending bill, named in honor of John McCain, he neglected to mention the Arizona senator even once.

Trump noticeably snubbed the 81-year-old Senate Armed Services Committee chairman, who is battling brain cancer, when he signed the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act on Monday at Fort Drum in New York.

“I want to thank our wonderful Vice President, Mike Pence, and say a special hello to the incredible patriots of Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division. Special people. Thank you,” Trump began his speech.

Though he also thanked Deputy Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik among others, Trump never named McCain — and even omitted his name from the title of the bill.

“I’m here today to sign our new defense bill into law and to pay tribute to the greatest soldiers in the history of the world: the United States Army,” the president said.

“We believe our warfighters deserve the tools, the equipment, and resources they have earned with their blood, sweat, and tears. In honor of that sacred obligation, I will put my signature on the National Defense Authorization Act,” Trump said. “This authorization will give America’s warfighters the firepower they need to win any conflict quickly and decisively.”

That same day, McCain’s longtime aide Mark Salter tweeted, “For those asking did I expect Trump to be an a—— today. No more than I expected it to be Monday.”

Meanwhile, McCain released a statement on his website, choosing not to mention Trump’s snub.

“I’m proud the NDAA is now law & humbled Congress chose to designate it in my name. As Chairman of the Armed Services Cmte, I’ve found high purpose in service of a cause greater than self—the cause of our troops who defend America & all that she stands for,” he said.

McCain’s wife Cindy celebrated her husband on Twitter, writing, “I’m so proud of @SenJohnMcCain and his work on NDAA. Incredibly humbled at the naming of this after my husband.”

During the season premiere of KUWTK last week, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney got into a fight while the KKW Beauty mogul, 37, was trying to organize a Christmas card shoot.

After Kourtney told her sister she wasn’t interested in rearranging her schedule to accommodate the shoot as she would rather just spend that time with her kids, Kim fired back by telling her sister that “no one wants you in the f— shoot” before calling her “the least exciting to look at.”

In response, Kourtney cried on the phone, saying, “I’m not here to be mistreated by my f—— bitch family. Kim saying that I’m the least interesting to look at — who even speaks like that? You don’t say things like that.”

The post also comes one day after Sunday night’s episode of the show in which Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian attended a therapy session to hash out their problems.

“You surround yourself with people that seem to be the opposite, in my opinion,” Kim said. “You’re preaching that you just want this zen life and you’re so positive and you don’t want to fight, but most of the time you’re arguing about stuff that it’s like, again? This? Everyone sees it and everyone comments on it.”

Crying, Kourtney said she felt like her sisters were never “genuinely” happy for her.

“Like, when I say I’m going on a trip — everything to you guys … the show is more important, work is more important,” she said. “Maybe traveling isn’t a priority to you, but it is to me. You would nev

Denise Richards Opens Up About Why She Joined RHOBH Im In a Really Good Place Right Now

Denise Richards is ready for her next chapter!

After exclusively confirming to PEOPLE that she’s the newest cast-member on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the 47-year-old actress opened up about why she wanted to join the Bravo franchise.

“I went through a lot and have been really private about a lot of things, and just in a really good place right now… and thought it would be fun, so I thought why not?” Richards, who was previously married to Charlie Sheen, 52, said during an interview with Extra.

Richards also explained she first talked to her pal — and now costar — Lisa Rinna, 55, before making a decision.

“I just asked her about it, she just loves it and has so much fun, so I just thought it would be fun to do,” Richards told Extra.

“They’re a strong group of women with strong opinions, and I love that and I respect that,” Richards continued.

“I think at the end of the day, no matter what goes on between all of them, they are there for each other and support each other, and I think that is really wonderful.”

When it comes to her ex-husband, Richards isn’t worried about they’re relationship being a part of her storyline.

“He and I are in a good place today. I always focus on that, and focus on the girls,” Richards continued.

“They don’t need to be privy to any discord… I want them to see things to be positive,” Richards added.

Richards and Sheen share two children together: Sam, 14, and Lola Rose, 13. She is also the mother to daughter Eloise Joni Richards.
